This whimsical picture is an original piece of artwork done by artist Rena Hoyt Hasse and depicts Gone With The Wind author, Margaret Mitchell as a young flapper in the 1920's surrounded by five suiters in her hospital room--it really happened. Could this be where she got the idea for Scarlett O'Hara with all the boyfriends around her as she sat on the rosewood ottoman at the Wilkes' Barbecue? If you are interested in owning an autographed print, contact the artist at hoythasse@charter.net |
