Rob Rains has worked on biographies or autobiographies with Jack Buck, Ozzie Smith, Red Schoendienst, Whitey Herzog, Jim Hanifan, Dave Phillips, Jerry Clinton and is currently working on a book about Cardinals manager Tony LaRussa. He is a Gold Card Member of the Baseball Writers Association of America and a voting member of the Baseball Hall of Fame. Rains worked for five years nationally for USA Today (National League Reporter for USA Today's Baseball Weekly). He's scene here as a guest on Billy Sample's live radio show at the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Sally Rains, a former writer for Bob Costas at KMOX Radio in St. Louis, is an author, public speaker and songwriter. She is the volunteer executive director of Rainbows For Kids which includes doing newsletters, the website, setting up events for the families and fundraising events like the one they hosted with Hall of Famer Ozzie Smith. She's currently finishing a book and working on a screenplay for an upcoming television documentary.

BJ Rains writes for the University Daily Kansan and the Associated Press covering Kansas University sports and he is the founder of the Kansas University Club Baseball Team. He is a senior at Kansas University.
Mike Rains is a Young Life leader in St. Louis and attends Fontbonne University where he is majoring in Sports Management. Young Life is a Christian organization that provides high school students with fun activities and Christian fellowship. Mike is a leader at Webster Groves High School. He is also a member of the Fontbonne University Bowling Team.
