"Gone With The Wind" And Other Fun Links
Published quarterly by John Wiley, covers all aspects of the GWTW phenomenon...at least try it once, it's a lot of fun to read!
Scarlett O'Hardy's offers a touch of class and elegant accommodations, with Gone With The Wind themed rooms. Next door is Scarlett O'Hardy's Gone With The Wind Museum.
For over 60 years Mary Mac's has been setting the standard for Southern cooking in Atlanta. We went there and Miss Jo Carter, the Ambassador of Hospitality sure did show us a good time. The food is great! Try the cracklin' corn bread and pot likker!
The Serenbe Inn is a beautiful bed and breakfast complex in Palmetto, GA, near Atlanta. We stayed in the Lake House--very nice! You get afternoon tea and cookies before bed. The full breakfast in the morning is great!
Herb Bridges is an expert on Gone With The Wind who was very helpful to me. He has written books, lectured and once owned the largest collection of GWTW memorabilia in the world. Part of his collection is in the Margaret Mitchell House and Road To Tara Museum in Jonesboro, GA (see pic. at right) Check out his books on Amazon.com
